Density Matters. Out of all of the factors that determine quality in a carpet, density has to be among the most important. The denser a carpet is, the more resilient and durable it's going to be. This makes all kinds of sense and doesn't really need a lot of explanation. When the tufts that make up carpeting are packed closely together, it is considered to be dense; when they are spaced far apart, the carpeting is considered to be sparser. When you are looking at a sample, bend it back. If the backing is easy to see, it's not dense carpeting. You should also press into the carpeting; if you can feel the backing with ease, you're not holding very dense carpeting.
Carpeting is very important as it affects the look and feel of your home. Homes that have carpets as flooring give warmth and vibrancy as well as an aesthetic appeal. The choice of carpet is enormous, with a wide range of colours, materials, designs and textures to choose from. This choice of designs can transform your home and give you an opportunity to make every room unique. Carpets are not cheap; with this in mind you need to have carpets that will last a long time so it's vitally important that you select the best one for the job and have it fitted correctly the first time.
